What are the causes of tooth ache?

[Tooth ache in general can be due to TOOTH PROBLEM OR GUM PROBLEM

TOOTH PROBLEMS ARE:

CARIOUS TOOTH Which is a decayed tooth which if not attended to at the earliest leads to fracture of tooth and finally its removal ,if not filled in correct time.

GUM PROBLEMS Are due to poor oral hygiene so you should make it a habit to brush twice daily with correct brushing method. ]

What is the cause for bad breadth ... ?

BAD BREADTH --> HALITOSIS

CAUSES

1. Local non-pathological:

a. morning breadth

b. hunger breadth

c. diet breadth

d. smokers breadth

e. in denture wearer

f. in old age

2. Local pathological

a. poor oral hygiene( bad tooth / bad gums )

3. Systemic non-pathological

a. metabolites of ingested food(garlic,alcohol)

4. Systemic pathological

a. lung diseases (lung abscess, bronchitis, pulmonary T.B etc,.)

b. conditions of alimentary tract (peptic ulcer, pyloric stenosis ,acidity etc,.)

5. Xerostomia (dry mouth or condition of decreased salivation)


REMIDIES

Remedies are variable and should be specific ,that is to remove the cause.

FIRST ARREST BLEEDING BY PUTTING COTTON AT THE SITE OF BLEEDING AND APPLYING PRESSURE.

IF BY CHANCE THE TOOTH IS EXFOLIATED HANDLE IT CAREFULLY BY HOLDING IT ON THE CROWN AND PLACE IT IN EITHER DISTILLED WATER OR MILK OR EVEN IN PATIENT'S OWN SALIVA

NEXT DO NOT APPLY ANY MEDICAMENT ORALLY WITHOUT DOCTORS ADVICE.

FINALLY RUSH THE PATIENT TO AN EMERGENCY CENTER.

NOTE EXFOLIATED TEETH CAN BE RE IMPLANTED IF THEY ARE IN HEALTHY CONDITION AND SHOULD BE DONE WITHIN ONE HOUR AFTER THE ACCIDENT]
